On the afternoon of April 7, 2023, Liu Changsong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Studies, received Professor Quan Yonggen, Dean of the School of Asian and African Languages and Culture at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Accompanied by Professor Quan Helv, the leader of the Asian and African language and literature discipline at our university.
Secretary Liu Changsong welcomed Professor Quan Yonggen's visit and had an in-depth exchange of views with Professor Quan Yonggen on the training model of "foreign language+" talents. Professor Quan Yonggen introduced the basic model and experience of "foreign language+" talent cultivation at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Economics. Subsequently, Secretary Liu Changsong introduced the progress of the "foreign language+" talent cultivation work in our hospital and the ideas for the next steps, and listened to the opinions of Professor Quan Yonggen. Professor Quan Yonggen highly praised the achievements of our college's "foreign language+" talent cultivation work and proposed suggestions for our college's "foreign language+" talent cultivation work.
Finally, Secretary Liu Changsong hopes that in the future, the School of Foreign Studies at Jilin University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies will strengthen mutual communication, and welcomes Professor Quan Yonggen to continue visiting the School of Foreign Studies at Jilin University.
